RETURN POLICY
At The Village Dog, we want you — and your pup — to be 100% happy with every purchase. If something’s not quite right, we’ll do our best to make it right.
Can I return an item?
Yes, we accept returns on most items within 14 days of delivery. Items must be:
- Unused and in original condition
- In the original packaging (where applicable)
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or
receipt)
What items are non-returnable?
For health and hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned:
- Opened or used grooming products
- Edible items (treats, chews, food)
- Personalized or custom items
- Sale or clearance items (unless defective)
Do you offer refunds or store credit?
You can choose either:
- A full refund
to your original payment method - Store credit
to use on a future order (we'll even throw in a small bonus!)
Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days once we receive and inspect your return.
Need a different size or item?
No problem! We can help you with exchanges for harnesses, collars, or other gear if sizing is off. Just email us with your
order number and the new size needed.
How do I return an item?
- Email us at [support@yourstore.com] with your
order number and reason for return. - We’ll send return instructions and a shipping label (if eligible).
- Package your item securely and drop it off at your nearest shipping location.
Customers are responsible for return
shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or we made a mistake.
What if my item is damaged or incorrect?
Yikes! We're so sorry. Please email
us within 3 days of delivery with photos and your order number, and
we’ll fix it ASAP — at no cost to you.
Can I cancel or change my order?
If your order hasn’t shipped yet,
we’re happy to make changes or cancel it. Once it ships, we can still assist with a return.
